Wendy Gouldingay – Principal and director

Wendy qualified in 1985 and has over 30 years’ experience in Family law and related matters. A former Partner in a Nottingham City centre firm, she set up Gouldingays in 2010, a niche Family Law practice, with the objective of providing a dedicated and specialised service to parties facing relationship breakdown.

Wendy qualified as a Mediator in 1998 and was accredited by the LSC ( Legal Services Commission) in 2001. She is a member of FMA (Family Mediation Association) and an accredited member of the Family Mediation Council. She sits on the Nottinghamshire Law Society Council as a representative for sole practitioners and Resolution (The Solicitors Family Law Association) and is also Co-chair of Resolution East Midlands/Nottinghamshire.

Passionate about the way Family law interacts with social policy, she is committed to offering both Court and non-Court based solutions within Family law for parties facing relationship breakdown. The ethos of the practice is to support people through the maze of options open to them and guide them through the uncertainties associated with relationship breakdown.

Wendy is married with two grown up children in their early twenties.
